Riderflex, a global recruiting firm, has been engaged by our client, ART19, in their search for a Senior DevOps Engineer.

ART19 is seeking a passionate, seasoned Dev Ops Engineer to join their fast-growing team. The ideal candidate feels strongly about leveraging emerging technologies to make a significant impact on the future of the podcast industry. Fundamentally, they are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a background in systems, programming and networking. That is excited about tackling ambitious challenges.

 

  1. Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

  5. Type: W-2 Full-Time

Responsibilities 

  1. Participate in all phases of system development, deployment, configuration, and monitoring including performance and availability, alerting, data integrity, security and capacity planning.
  2. Plan, orchestrate and launch infrastructure at scale.
  3. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
  4. Work with technical stakeholders to define platform capabilities and best practices

 

Requirements 

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience
  2. Strong proficiency in Ruby
  3. Experience with the AWS ecosystem
  4. Experience with Docker and container based infrastructure
  5. Intimate knowledge of Linux debugging, scripting, and configuration management
  6. Experience with Chef
  7. Experience with Ruby on Rails
  8. Great technical and problem-solving skills
  9. Experience with security principles and networking
  10. Experience supporting big scale applications
  11. Experience with Terraform

 

Preferred

  1. Familiarity with complete Hashicorp stack (Consul, Packer, Vault, Terraform, etc.)
  2. Experience with HAProxy
  3. Experience with Nginx
  4. Experience with Postgres
  5. Experience with Redis
  6. Experience with Vertica
  7. CI/CD systems experience
  8. Interest in podcasts
